Natalie Juenger: 712 total - 634 in hourly positions; 78 in salaried positions (managers and chefs in the restaurants and our Corporate Office employees)

HF: What are some of your recruiting challenges?

NJ: Due to having multiple concepts, the challenge is trying to fit the right talent to the right position.

HF: What types of positions do you frequently recruit for on StarChefs?

NJ: Sous Chefs and Restaurant Managers

HF: What is your favorite feature of StarChefs JobFinder?

NJ: How it takes the specific needs of our company and offers it to a generally high level of culinary/hospitality candidates who are looking for the best of the best in a company.

HF: Why would someone want to work for your company?

NJ: We are independent, creative, entrepreneurial but with structure and planned vision, along with being multi-concept in the high profile area of Washington, D.C.

HF: How would you describe the company culture?

NJ: We have a simple mission, “Create...Lifetime…Guests.” It’s the basis of our company’s culture – in how we treat our guests as well as our employees.

HF: What does the future look like for this company?

NJ: Extremely bright – we’re opening new concepts in trendy urban neighborhoods – relying on the ongoing development of our management and culinary staff.

HF: What kind of advice would you give jobseekers applying to your company?

NJ: Be forthright in your experience, education, and skill set – be specific with employment dates.
